I sent Ryne Sandberg a birthday card with $100, along with a letter to congratulate and thank him for everything he's done and a ball for him to sign and inscribe even included a pen and postage paid box. I put post it's where I requested the inscriptions. I got the ball back very quickly but nothing on it except for the post it's I place on it, nor even my pen. So I sent it all to him, minus the bday card, along with a receipt showing my donation to one of his charities and a short letter explaining what happened. It took a little longer but I recieved the ball with beautiful signature, with the pen I sent and he kept again lol, but no inscriptions. Still a success in the long rub. He announced his cancer a few weeks later. #rynostrong
