Pardis Mahdavi became President of University of La Verne in 2023. She is also an author of Migrant Encounters: Intimate Labor, The State, and Mobility Across Asia”, “Crossing The Gulf: Love and Family in Migrant Lives” and she also has a background on studying migrant rights, human rights, and Middle Eastern issues. On 3/22/2024 I mailed a letter explaining how I find President Mahdavi's work to be very inspiring to me at:
President Pardis Mahdavi
c/o Office of the President
University of La Verne
Founders Hall, Room 110
1950 3rd Street
La Verne, CA 91750
(took about 10 months)
On 12/10/2024 I received a nice letter from President Mahdavi
