Well, I sent a LOR (letter of request) which just told her that I am a fan of hers, which movies/roles I really enjoyed her in, and then politely asked if she could send me an autographed photo. I also put in a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope), of course with my address already printed on it and enough stamps to cover the postage so she (or her manager) wouldn't have to pay for it. I put it all in a larger envelope with her address and postage on it. Sending postage is different for international mail, so you might want to ask someone else who doesn't live in the U.S. and see how they do it. I haven't tried any international ones yet because I'm not sure myself!

I sent to Dakota and Elle Fanning in the same request around 2 years ago before there were loads of Dakots Fanning successes and got them both back together about a year ago so i think you'll deffinatley hear from her :)
