Sent *Seaweed* a letter, 8x10, Sharpie, SASE on 5/18/10, addressed to: 81 Kirk Road, Rochester, NY 14612. SASE returned 6/2/11 with 8x10 signed and personalized. Mr. Pettie also personalized one of his own 5x7 photo's from his days with the Rochester Americans, he also also wrote a full page letter to me asking me if I could sent him and his daughter a copy of the photo I sent him. It was a close-up photo I took of him 32 years ago, at Hershey Park Arena, while playing in the minors. He wrote about playing stories, and how much respect he has for the Hershey Bear organization and the fans......from when he was injured, and a stay at Hershey Medical Center. He ended the letter with this line," The only thing I didn't like about Hershey was waking up in the morning with a hangover and smelling chocolate." I will GLADLY resend the photos back to him, like he says in his letter, " we're like little kids trading cards." He also thanked ME about five times throughout. Sorry no scanner.
