Good point. There is one guy on here RYAN-J that has a ridiculous 2000+ autographs and there is no way that he is a fan of all those celebrities that he has collected. Most of the time he just got a celebrity autograph because they were in the area and he wanted to add them to his growing collection. Or because he found out that a celebrity will sign a picture for him or will send him one through email. He is what is wrong with this hobby. :roll:
This is not cool at all. Ryan is one of the nicest members on this entire forum, and I don't appreciate you saying things about him that aren't true for whatever reason.

And hypocrite much? You openly admitted that you requested an autograph just to get it, and not because you were a fan. And yet you said those very people are what's wrong with the hobby?
I have nothing against the people with 1,000 autographs. I was merely pointing out that I was being bickered at for having 16 autographs, while others have more. If you are going to complain, you shouldn't complain at someone who hardly has anything. Does that make sense?
More power to everyone with that many autographs. It is a thrill to collect them, and it is a very fun hobby. It would be awesome to have that many some day.

Haha, I figured my name would probably pop up in this. :roll: Let me explain, that 2,000 autographs, does not mean, I know or have written to or met 2,000 Individual celebrities. with a typical request, I like to request four autographs from each person, my goal is to pass my collection down to my kids one day, and I'd like to give one to each of them if they want to start up their own collection.

And I don't write to every person who replies TTM, I only write to people who I admire, and being an aspiring performer myself, I admire a lot of people for different reasons. {up}

So you really should get your facts straight before assuming something about someone you don't even know. {up} & that's all I'm gonna say about it.

Um, all I said in the email was "could I please have Joan's autograph". I didn't lie at all whatsoever. I didn't even say I was a fan. And I had a grand total of about 16 autographs. Talk to the people that have 1,000+ autographs.
Also, if Joan wants to spend her money on sending out autographs, more power to her. I don't think she gives a hoot about who gets her autograph and who doesn't either.

This one is from the fall, and I just got around to posting it. I sent an email to her agent via her website http://www.joan.co/ and received this in return a few weeks later. I'm not going to lie... I am not a fan of Joan, but I just got it because 1, it was free, and 2, it is some nice collection "fluff". :P
