This is such a cool idea, writing to veterans. These are the true American heroes and deserve a lot of respect. Thank you for sharing all of these veteran successes, it has inspired me a lot! [us] :)

Hershel Woodrow "Woody" Williams (born October 2, 1923) is a retired United States Marine who received the Medal of Honor for his actions on 2-23-45 in the Battle of Iwo Jima during World War II. He is also the last surviving recipient of the Medal of Honor from that battle.

Sent him 2 photos, same b/w photo that is on his Wikipedia page, on 1 Feb and received them back on 10 Feb.. he also included 2 business size cards with all of his MOH info on them that were also signed..
