I just watched last nights show. She was an absolute mug, to say the least. I doubt any of the judges had heard of Bullet For My Valentine either, but if she did train the singer, he must have had one lesson before he got scared off!

Edit:
I found this on YouTube, quite funny

I forgot to set it up to record on sky+, so I got it set up for tomorrow :D

There's two people at school who we might persuade to audition, they're awful but they think they're really good! One of them is in a band and she screams down the microphone, thinking she's as good as slipknot, which makes everyone laugh at her, and the other one got a solo in the Christmas concert, and is just plain awful.
We're all so nice at school

lmao!!!! There's a guy just like him who comes to my place of work to "entertain" the residents! He is absolutely awful but he doesn't charge much and he always plays our annual fete for free so my boss keeps booking him

Did you see X Factor tonight? That woman at the end was a right nutter! "I'm not a number, I'm a person!"

I adored the 80 year old black guy at the beginning. He was awesome! {love}

At least I found a lookalike :D

What.A.Mug.
Oh, I remember her now!!!
My god I hate that kind of confidence - and is it just me or did she make no sense when she said she did jobs she hated but it meant she got to wake up every morning and do what she loves..... eh? If she already does what she loves, why and how is she doing a job she hates? Maybe I misunderstood......

But I hate that - why isn't singing enough for some people? Of course we all have different dreams, but why does no-one seem to think they've made it unless they have a number one single, etc? Why can't they just love singing and be happy to be doing it to any size of an audience? They all now only seem to want the audience of thousands, fireworks and 20 costume changes.....

And I'm really, really not saying this to be rude or funny, but I swear that woman reminded me of a drag queen when she started to sing. Not really her look, the singing - I pictured a man in drag on a small stage in front of a glitzy curtain.....
I agree with everything you said! Half the people who go on X Factor are deluded idiots. They don't work on their voice and really perfect their talent, they're shower singers who just want the fame and fortune. When they're asked why they're there they say something like "I want to buy my mum a house"! My advice would be go to university, get a decent job and get your smug face off my tv!

*lol* I know, don't they record themselves or something first to see? And where are the good friends and parents to tell them the truth?
I know myself sometimes I hear the people sing and, to me, they can hold a tune and everything, but Simon & Co can hear more and are able to say they're off, they don't have a strong voice, etc - but the people who really can't hold a tune. Why, oh why, does no-one tell them so before they make a fool of themselves on TV and get their hopes up, thinking they're going to win the show and be a big star??

They did! If I recall correctly it was just the 3 judges at that time (minus Dannii) and they left the deciding vote up to Louis, and since he said yes, she got through (maybe someone said no to her after or something though?).
I found it funny but at the same time I thought it was a bit of a sin when they do things like that. They don't always need to be rude, but I think it's unfair to basically tell them they're good for whatever reason when they really weren't.

Mind you though, I mainly only watch the auditions as it's the most entertaining bit! *lol*
