Everyone suffers foot in mouth syndrome sometimes. Its no big deal to make an adverse comment or do something stupid now and again. I think Russell & Jonathan behaved like a couple of idiots but it wasn't as big a deal as the media made out.

i think they're making too much of a fuss too
Jonathan ross said explicitly after making the program not to broadcast it and they did and then he wanted to apologize straight after it was aired but they wouldn't let him!

They are definately making too much of a fuss, and the media doesn't help it either. After the Brand/Ross incident, only about 3 people complained and then after a newspaper mentioned it, the whole country went into uproar. People seem to complain about everything broadcast nowadays when back in the seventies and eighties it was just Mary Whitehouse and noone else really cared.

i was just wondering because in debating society at school today we discussed the things that have been happening in the bbc like Jeremy clarksons comments about lorry drivers and of course Jonathan ross and russell brand. we also discussed past problems like mock the week and have i got news for you .... i was just wandering what people thought about this and whether people are making to much fuss

thanks
