The first Saturday of December...however, my mum and dad will have to put itself up by themselves this year because all of their kids are at uni, and come back around the 19th Dec!

Looking at the dates the weekends fall on, it'll probably go up on the 12th. Mum bought a black tree last year, which I admit looks very swish even if it's not exactly traditional! She decorates it with silver, white and cream baubles and bows.

Myself, I have a tree which I bought a few years ago for my room at my Dad's but I've since changed rooms there and it doesn't fit in my new one, so I won't be putting it up. Shame, as it's a beautiful tree. Decorated in gold, silver and white. No tinsel (I hate tinsel). I recently bought some new ice crystal effect snowflakes in Stratford which I'm dying to put up, but never mind. They'll have to wait, and when I get my own place I can unwrap them and remember my Stratford trip all over again :)

My needles don't fall off!

Mid December. It's an artificial tree so there is no urgency to put it away before the needles start falling off.

As I said my neighbors tree is FULL. The have an 8 month old clock who tore up the back of the chair her grandmother died in... and now they are extremely worried about the tree! :D

My mom and I switch off decorating each year. When it's my turn, we get colorful lights and ornaments. But this year, it's her year. Which means white lights and boring stuff. XD

We never set an exact day, plus it will probably go up sometime while I'm at school, anyways.
But I love Christmas trees. They look too empty until something gets put under them, though.

I don't get trees! So My mom sets it up in my basement about Decemeber 15th say? It all of a sudden started getting really late, but I really am excited for "my trip down memory lane" this year. So soon I would say. Soon.

I enjoy it I usually get about 2 ornaments from my grandmother every year (until your 18 so um... more than 32 ornaments?) My mom's, "my first christmas", and so many that i made, My tree is FULL. :)

My neighbors is so ful from her 5 kids and three grandchildren.... (she's only like 45 though :) )

haha pets and trees...our dog doesnt 'play' with it as such...shes just gets overexcited and manages to knock it over...and then somehow blame it on my sister. no idea how a dog does that, but the innocent look is very convincing.[/quote]

Hahahaha dogs are very good at passing the buck! The other day, my puppy Holly, ripped the Argos catalogue up right infront of my old dog Tiggy, then she went upstairs (getting as far away from the crime scene as possible) and made it look like Tiggy had done it! :lol:

ours usually goes up when mum gets too excited about it all and cant resist it any more :P although this year shes gonna have to wait for me to come home...i'd hope :P so it will be some time after the 18th december (probably 2 minutes after I get in the door...)
