Looking at the dates the weekends fall on, it'll probably go up on the 12th. Mum bought a black tree last year, which I admit looks very swish even if it's not exactly traditional! She decorates it with silver, white and cream baubles and bows.
Myself, I have a tree which I bought a few years ago for my room at my Dad's but I've since changed rooms there and it doesn't fit in my new one, so I won't be putting it up. Shame, as it's a beautiful tree. Decorated in gold, silver and white. No tinsel (I hate tinsel). I recently bought some new ice crystal effect snowflakes in Stratford which I'm dying to put up, but never mind. They'll have to wait, and when I get my own place I can unwrap them and remember my Stratford trip all over again
