I'm really looking forward to Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince. But also movies that I want to see that I haven't yet are:

The Reader
The film is from a book. I read the book as part of the curriculum for my Post War German Literature courses and I fell in love with it. Then I heard that there was a movie coming out based on the book and I was so excited. The lead actress is Kate Winslet, so I'm sure it will be amazing. It's based in Germany from late 1940's, early 1950's to the late 1980's and is based around the events of Nazi Germany in World War II but is intertwined with a love story and how the effects of Nazi Germany and the actions of former Nazi's affect the people that come in contact with them years later.

Revolutionary Road
This film is also based on a book, and I'm actually surprised, due to the cast, that it wasn't on the list of Anticipated 2009 Movies haha. But it stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet (first film together since 1997's Titanic). When I heard that they were doing a film together again, I was so excited, as I think that they have great chemistry onscreen.

I'm most anticipated for Harry Potter and Transformers 2, not that I knew about Transformers, but I loved the first movie so I must love the second! Unless -- casting is changed? Unfortunately, I am most excited for HARRY POTTER! :) Love it, even if RobertPattinsonDoesntBecauseTheyKilledHisCharacter :] LOL

Personally, I'm looking forward to "Angels and Demons" and "Dorian Gray". Those are two of my favorite books. IMHO, Angels and Demons was a much better book than The Da Vinci Code. It probably wasn't as scandalous, but still I thought it was really intriguing and the plot twists nearly blew my mind  . As for Dorian Gray, I still remember having to read it for school, and it was by far the best required book I had to read.

Now, I'm always wary of seeing great books as movies because they always find a way to ruin it for me  . But Ben Barnes was a great Prince Caspian, so hopefully he can also bring Dorian Gray to life! But once again, that's just my opinion ;-)

I'm really looking forward to the new Judd Apatow movie, Funny People, released in July. Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Leslie Mann, Eric Bana, Jason Schwartzman. Has to be fantastic!

The Soloist, Brothers Bloom, Defiance, Push, Sunshine Cleaning. They're not really mainstream for the most part, nor are they gonig to be really popular, but sometimes they make the best movies I've found. I love Harry Potter and really want to see Wolverine and some of the others on the list. Don't get me wrong, but some of the ones I listed I would have thought would have been on the list. Push for sure.
