Unfortunately I was never able to see the musical before. I did see the movie but it was really different. A lot of extra transition scenes were cut out and some other things were changed around etc.

It's coming here in Philly in February I eblieve, but I don't think I'm going to see it...I "accidently" saw LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL twice and don't even like ReNT too much unfortunately! But thanks for the review,..my friend wants to go and was asking my advice on it!

OMG last night I saw RENT in Cleveland with Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp. This is it's first stop on the tour. I just want to say, it was AMAZING!!!! RENT is definitely not one of my top 10 musicals (I'm a BIG musical person) but this performance was probably the best performance I have EVER seen. The WHOLE cast was impressive, even the chorus members. When they were transitioning between scenes etc, sometimes they had chorus members sing a song or solo and I was shocked at how strong everyone's voices were. I got chills multiple times and I was almost in tears at the end.

Seriously, if you are given the chance to go see this show, GO SEE IT! It is well worth the money!

P.S-stay after when it's done because the cast will come out. I've been to some shows where they don't and my parents were impatient so we left, then a friend told me she got their autographs and I was soo mad! My other friend is going Saturday so I'm trying to see if she'll take my program and get it signed.
