Well I do enjoy watching Family Guy but do agree that it can be over the top sometimes. I prefer to watch The Simpsons or South Park some days. {thumb2}

I absolutely love the show but I can understand why you would not like it. (repetitive jokes, trying to push envelope, etc.) ;-)

I Love Family Guy, I think it's a great show with clever and witty writing...sometimes. That's just my opinion. Sometimes they do go over the top and push the envelope but that's what makes family guy.It appeals to a lot of people for example they had an episode where they referenced M*A*S*H and something about Korea I can't remember, and I didn't think it was funny because I love M*A*S*H, butsomeone else might have busted out laughing. The point I'm trying to make I guess is that peoples opinions and sense of humor aredifferent and Family Guy isn't for everybody but IMHO It's one of the BEST shows on!!!

I do enjoy a bit of Family Guy. It peaked a few series ago, but there have been some decent episodes recently. Much prefer it to the Simpsons. Can't beat a bit of purile humour :P Relying far too heavily on the flashbacks these days. Plus, too many American references...thats what you get for having American writers. Would be even more funny if I knew who half the people they were talking about were :P

The attempts at shocking are all a bit...lame really. Maybe its all a bit edgy in America, but compared to a lot of other comedy out there its a pretty safe programme. Its gotta be pretty good to fit my sense of humour, cos I can't think of any other shows from the US that make me laugh (apart from Blind Justice...but that wasn't meant to be comedy somehow...)

I don't like Family Guy either, I prefer South Park :D . Most people I know love Family Guy {down}

I like the show. Their jokes are either hit or miss. Sometimes they have me laughing hysterically, and other times it's WTF was that?? Yes, they try to shock and do go too far sometimes.

No, I hate Family Guy. It's not well-written and their sole aim to shock and offend. A show should not have to resort to offensive material to make their audience laugh. I'd take The Simpsons/King of the Hill/Life and Times of Tim any day of the week over that garbage.

i love family guy and think its hilarious, their have been some times ive thought its gone over the limit thou.
