I guess it is quite lucky to look young but unless you constantly tell people your age, you tend to get spoken down to. I work in an old people's home and relatives of new residents often ask to speak to a "senior" member of staff instead of talking to me. I'm always having to explain that I've been doing the job for nearly a decade and hardly anyone believes me

I completely agree. I am 24 but I look much much younger and I always get spoken down to. My favorite is when people try and intimidate me. I have no tolerance for that, It doesnt work out for them so well. {thumb2}
