Can I ask, do you celebrate any other tradition (i.e. are you Jewish, Hindu, Muslim etc) or are you not religious at all?
Myself, I'm raised in a Christian culture, and I'm very traditional, but I don't believe. I celebrate Christmas because I feel the magic and love of the season, if that makes sense

I like to buy gifts for my family, things I know they'll like. So I guess, I treat it kind of how Americans treat Thanksgiving.
I haven't started my shopping yet, but I usually do start around now so my eyes are peeled. This year I'll hopefully be in my own (first) home by Christmas, which means I get to put up my Christmas tree. I bought it years ago to use when I lived at my Dads. My room was bigger there, so I had my own tree. I havent used it for years because my room at Mums is too small. But every so often I'll buy decorations for it, just a few here and there. Crystal snowflakes from Stratford, when I went to the theatre for the first time. Just little things that will always be a reminder of significant events in my life. I cant wait to decorate it!
