Mate of you like them keep them, you wanna get rid of them donate them to a charity. Only you can make the decision in the end.

You should probably put everything in a box and put it away for a while. Later take them out and remember what joy you got when you recieved the autographs in the mail. Too many emotions are running wild, and you may do something that you may regret later.

Please, whatever you do - don't rip them up. :( That is really sad, as someone went to the trouble of signing that for you and posting it back, and other fans may not have been successful unlike you, how would they feel? You could sell them or just keep them, you may regret the decision if you don't. I wouldn't listen to what your mum said, it is entirely up to you.
