Thanks guys
I personally believe it is so important to remember those who gave their lives so bravely so we might live our own.
The sad thing is that in only a few years time we will have no living reminders of the 1st and 2nd World Wars.
Unfortunately though we will have the victims of subsequent confilcts to remember, and so it goes on . . . . .
Whether we agree with the principles of war or not, I still believe we need to acknowledge those who gave their lives all those years ago. Many people nowadays do not realise the average age of soldiers in the two world wars was only 16 or 17. They were barely teenagers, let alone men and women.
