You guys are lucky you get mail on the weekends. In [ca] we get mail delivered only Monday-Friday. Maybe thats why our mail takes so long to get anywhere (takes about 10 days to mail from [ca] to the US.)

It doesn't make any difference to me if they close on Saturdays. That just means that you will get more mail on Mondays. I'd take that option over raising rates again.

Me too. (At least, I hope it is!) ;-)

As a kid I always said that to my dad...and used to throw fits when the mailmen had all those days off...as I had sent out a letter to every major league team in every sport for free stuff and expected stuff every day too many holidays for them now they bug me when they dont show up before I leave for work, and the worst part is as Im driving down a neighboring road, my mailman is in route to my street, I feel like stopping and taking my stuff out of the truck instead of waiting all day but I dont think that would work out too well

LOL! For sure!! Plus I think it makes people worried so they pay more to have their packages arrive to their distination sooner instead of them being delayed a couple of days.

Hmmmm. This is interesting. Though they've been saying this for a long time now. First it was going to be wednesday, then they were going to cut mail for saturdays ect. ect. Wonder if there really going to do this. I think it's just a rumor to get people worried and make them start buying more stamps and USPS supplies.

for all of our autographs to come back.....as if they dont get enough holidays off...now this??? Granted I understand the budget deficiency but forcing us to go to retail kiosks is a pain in my butt and I would be much less likely to drive the few extra miles to go there than right down the road to my local post office, resulting in much less of an income if the public feels the same as I do.
