Yes! JK Rowling sent me the biggest 'personal' reply even if it was mostly 'through' her secretary, and by biggest, I mean amount of heartfelt stuff & response but other celebrities like the FF 13 voice crew have all written me letters pretty much (besides Vincent) & I can't think of others but I know I've gotten personal responses before. Oh Nicola Roberts wrote a pretty nicely sized response on the photo I sent to her to sign. Usually I write engaging letters, or try to though. And I try to think outside the box. I've met some celebrities in reality too and when MTV had TRL I was on there once, and I've met a lot of bands.
The most 'famous' celebrities I have talked to in real life and I mean face to face, near alone and real conversation with would be Jackson Rathbone and his band members & then Edi Gathegi (sp?) from Twilight. I'm a big Jackson fan, not so much a Twilight fan though it's okay. I went to a small function/poetry reading where I walked outside to talk to him while he was having a smoke and a laugh with his bandmates and he was all cool about talking to me and posing for a photo. I don't ask for autographs in person though, just photos. I think the photo thing is enough. I only collect autographs because I love the person who I am writing to or what they have done, etc. and because I love mail correspondence and it makes me feel happy to see mail to me...
