To play high-spec games you'll need a decent graphics card to stop them crashing, you'd have to check what your laptops got first and chances are there won't be much chance of an upgrade. Definitely put them on an external hard drive if you have one just to stop your laptop hard drive getting filled up which will make it run slower. If you know what games you want to run check on here first:

Chose a game and it will check the specs of your laptop against what you need and give you an idea if it will run well, hope that helps {up}

I was wondering what the best way was to play lots of high-spec games on an ordinary laptop without effecting the spped of the pc? Should I load the games onto an external hard-drive? Will they work properly? It would be great if someone could help me!
