I also am a huge fan of Michael Douglas. I would love to write him a letter that has some chance of being read; especially given his circumstances. What a great influence he and his father have been in my life. I wish him all the best. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

There is absolutely no chance of him reading your card if you send ti to the fanmail address. I don't see why it would be "creeperish" as you put it, after all, he is a friend of a family member. If you do not want anything in return, why not simply give it to your uncle to give to him?

I wanted to send a card to Michael Douglas because he's my uncle's friend, but I didn't want to pump my uncle for his real address (because, how creeperish would that be?) so I wanted to use his fan mail address, but I've seen that people get auto pens and preprints from him so I was wondering if he'd actually ever see the card.
