Very sorry to hear this. He's been a friend of the hobby for so many years. All of the examples of his signature in the last year or so have been very shaky and he stopped signing TTM a few months ago.

I am so sorry to hear this, I had a chance to meet him in the summer at a charity golf event. He is the nicest man.

yes he is suffering from dementia which is very very sad. he was a great baseball manager for the tigers here in michigan. when he retired i will never forget what he said "this ain't baseball no more."

he said that in regards to free agency.

i love that man

I know this isn't the right section for this post, admin feel free to move it. The link is to a story about Coaching legend Sparky Anderson, apparently he's not doing so well. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Sparky was one of my heroes growing up in Detroit so this is very sad to me.
