Hi James {up}

I live officially in Lincolnshire, but I'm actually on the Norfolk/Cambridge/Lincolnshire border (about 30 miles from Norwich). There was no snow when we left home for Watford (the TV was continuously telling us we should be having blizzards!)

We only had a few flakes in Watford, but when we got back home a couple of days later the snow had arrived!

Hi Larisie {up}

It was a bit or a surprise this early in the year. We do get a few inches of snow most years, but usually not until February/March. Must be global warming!!!!!

Whoa!! Daniel those are HUGE hail balls!! LOL :lol: Luckily no one was outside or got injured!! I think those are pretty cool pictures though!

Wow, Ian!! I've always heard that England doesn't get much snow if any, so that must've been a shocker to see!! I like your ducks, they're cute! :wink:

Hey Daniel!!!

That's A LOT of hail! I'm glad you and your family are okay. I also hope there isn't much damage.

Yeah I know what you mean about the hail hurting. But nobody was outside when this stuff came down. No injuries. That's the most important thing.

I guess this is what happens when you have 50 degree weather in January. :lol:

Hi Daniel {up}

The weather has gone mad . . . . :P We had snow over Christmas for the first time in as long as I can remember.

We went to see the family in Watford (just north of London) on Boxing Day (26th) and arrived back on Thursday 29th to snow!

It really was like a "dickensian" Christmas card scene as we drove through the country lanes at night with all the trees covered in white.

I have posted a pic below for anyone who is interested - if you look carefully you can see some of my ducks in the background!

Happy New Year!
