Didn't watch it, pretty glad I didn't. Seemed to just be celebrating everything thats wrong with TV. Benidorm was a fairly decent winner, though hardly the funniest thing thats ever been made. The 'factual' category was a bit odd. Would have put all of those nominated into the entertainment category - got nothing against Top Gear but wouldn't class it as factual any day of the week. Everything was just lowest common denominator stuff, nothing ground breaking and nothing challenging, just the usual mindless shows that tend to do well at that kind of thing.

[color=#0000FF]Coronation Street was robbed by Eastenedrs (as usual), the tram crash was absolutely great TV! I'm glad Top Gear won - it's my favourite show ever! I think Davina should've got an award considering it was her last year of Big Brother but she had no chance up against Ant & Dec![/color]

Why doesn't Emmerdale ever win anything!!? All Eastenders is is people yelling and slapping each other and Coronation Street is starting to follow in its footsteps! Emmerdale is well written and better performed than any of the other soaps. How can Eastenders win when there was the Corrie 50th anniversary explosion/tram crash and the Emmerdale fire when Viv and Terry died!

David Jason's drama trophy was definitely well deserved. He's a fabulous comedy actor and straight actor

Why do Top Gear always win the magazine show category! It's hardly informative - it's just three rude middle-aged man ruining cars and doing stupid stunts. i cant understand why it hasn't been axed yet!

I was glad to see that Brucie didn't really announce his retirement, because he is a British tv legend!!!

Also, why wasn't there a comedy section? Ronnie Corbett would have one with The One Ronnie that was on at Christmas. Corbett is such a fabulous comedian and I think he'll continue to be funny for his whole life.
