I should think that it is all about the quality of your letter. However, there might be some who automatically dismiss typed letters as being from ''ebayers''

Hi all,

I began autograph collecting at the beginning of the year and I really enjoy it, and love this site. I have a few questions and would appreciate any feedback.

First, I have sent off probably close to 500 LOR's (all hand written) except for a handful of e-mails. My question is, do you any of you type your letters and have success. I chose to write by hand because I thought it would seem more personalized on my part, and my hand writing is not hard to read. However, it is starting to take it's toll on my hand! Any thoughts?

Second, when I started this hobby I had this idea that I would frame all my successes but that would take up a lot of room (and anger my wife). It would also be quite costly. My dilemma is now I have several in frames, and the rest are stored in a box. I am looking for ways to organize my collection. I thought about a binder with page protectors but worried about the photos getting bent edges. Any suggestions????

As I said, I am fairly new to this and would greatly appreciate feedback.

Thanks guys!
