Guess I phrased that last post wrong. But that's basically what I was confused about - you know it costs $0.98 to mail your requests to the UK. Your friend is asking about how many stamps is needed on his SASE. Both your request and his SASE are going from the US to the UK, so by knowing it costs $0.98 to send your requests, you should already know it costs the same for your friend's SASE. ScottishDan was repeating what you already wrote.

.98 is what it costs me to send the letter out to the UK, not what I put on the SASE. Because like I said people have told me I need to include more postage on the return SASE as the price is higher apparently and I wanted to know what most of the UK collectors put on theirs. Scottish Dan pretty much answered my question.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding something here, but in your original post, you asked how many stamps your friend would need for his SASE, and then said it costs you $0.98 to do the same. So you pretty much answered your own question didn't you? Regardless of the exchange rate, you would still need those same stamps to get the SASE back, unless USPS decides to change the price.

Well it must somehow if it only costs me a .98 cent stamp to get there and $1.86 to mail back the same items. I was just asking for my friend so I knew what to tell him for putting stamps on his SASE's to get back to the UK.
