My local Radio station here in Michigan (WCSR 92.1) has a weekly radio show every friday called 'Bob and Julie at the Movies' where our two crazy deejay's talk about the latest movies they've seen and also read reviews from local people who went to see movies.

My friend & I did a review on Hunger Games and they read them on the air! Enjoy!

I have read the books before and went to see it at midnight. I loved the movie. I wasn't crazy about some of the shaky film sequences but over all this movie was worth it. I am going to see it again with my nephew tonight and he is very excited so I can hardly wait to hear what he has to say about it. I know they changed some things but that is how it usually is with books being made into movies but that is just life I guess. A book won't be word for word with a movie so even though online I have seen a lot of people complaining, I give this movie a 9 of 10

The Hunger Games! ***MAY HAVE SPOILERS***

ok since the movie has been out for a good while now and since I know ALOT of cities it opened at midnight to sold out showings. Now the question is........Who saw it at midnight? Also what did you think? Did it live up to the book?
Also if anyone is looking for the current Hunger Games opening night numbers here is where it stands - $19.7 Million!
It did NOT break all 4 Twilights or all 7 Harry Potter records!! But it IS the highest midnight total ever for a non-sequel movie!

I was able to see it at midnight and no it was not a sell out here......But since I never read the books I really didn't have a clue as to the outcome going in my mom told me she was thinking she remembered them both winning but she wasn't sure. But anyway for me I was fighting to stay awake..........This movie was a BIG let down for me. This is what I put on facebook last night about 3am "Just got home..............I found Hunger Games to be lackluster...........A little on the dark side..............But over all I would see it again only to make sure I didn't miss anything the first time............But over all it made me want it to hurry up and be over.......it is way too dragy.........". Can anyone fill me in since I have yet to read the books (I HAVE requested them from the library but it's going to be a while lol) on how your name can end up in the bowl more then once? In the movie Katniss asked Gale how many times how name was in there and he said 42 how? my mom couldn't remember how lol.

So ok now your turn what did you think?
ALSO just a reminder this is just everyones opinion this is not the place for fights about the movie please respect everyones opinion or don't post!!!!!
