Melissa George

Hi, I just wanted to express my support to Melissa for telling channel 7 where to stick it.
I sent the below email to the Morning Show. Melissa, I do hope you come home more often. I have found you to be one the most interesting actors of our generation. I love watching your work & interviews. Screw channel 7.

"Just read some articles on the Melissa George "outburst" and her comments on Twitter. She has a point. As a viewer I find it cringe worthy when an actor is on to discuss their current work (or promote their charity) and the past of their origins are continually raised and highlighted. We all know what her origins are and it does smack of nothing but cross promotion by channel seven. I've seen it occur more than once on channel seven and it's embarrassing. Honestly put yourself in her shoes. How would you like to appear on National TV to promote your charity only to have your Yr 12 final English essay discussed as the highlight when what you have achieved after as a professional is so much more interesting?? The public aren't stupid."
