Hi HayleyR210 {up}

Thanks for your post :P

Discussion-type posts are only usually locked once they have not been posted to for a considerabe length of time, perhaps a month or so. An exception to this is if somebody has made a complaint about the post, or if the post is generating too much debate of a negative type; arguments etc.

Feedback posts are sometimes closed sooner, but only usually once the post had been acknowledged by either an Administrator a Moderator, or one of our Autograph Experts.

To be realistic, we have to do this otherwise the moderating team would not be able to keep on top of the posting, and it is very important that posters get a response as soon as possible. Of course, any member is always able to begin another thread (on the same subject as one that has been closed) if they have something new to add, or need more information.

Sorry if you think some of the posts are locked too soon, but if order to keep the message board moving FORWARDS rather than BACKWARDS we sometimes have to do this :?

Thanks again for your post!

Ian :mrgreen:
