SISTER WAS IN COMA - NEEDS LIQUID OXYGEN (HELIOS)

by cagneyfan » Mon Feb 10, 2014 7:02 am

Hi - My sister was in a coma because her CO2 levels in her blood were too high. Now that she woke up and has a second chance, her supplier of liquid oxygen is no longer selling it(along with many other companies that are not accepting new customers) and she wants to be able to go outside for extended periods and the regular oxegen concentrator is too heavy for her at 5lbs. Anyone know of a company that provides liquid oxygen to those people with severe breathing problems and is accepting new patients and is contracted or somewhat covered by Medicare. If no coverage is available - how much would it cost per day to buy it? I was told about $100.00 a day. Could it be that much? Thanks.
