James garner died yesterday and he was one of my favorite actors and I still love watching "the Rockford Files".... Weird thing is I knew he has been sick for awhile and about 3 weeks I felt the need to write him a letter letting him know how much I always enjoyed his work, I didn't ask for a autograph or anything I just felt the need to send him a nice letter letting him know how i used to watch Rockford files reruns with my dad when i was a kid and stuff before my dad passed away and how my dad actually met james garner while he was promoting maverick when my dad was a little kid.... Anyways i hope he had a chance to read my letter and R.I.P. James. I still enjoy old Rockford episodes today.
