Hi everyone

Thanks for the good wishes once again! :mrgreen:

I managed to get my speech over and done with today, before the holidays as I didn't want to leave it to then.

I managed to do fairly well (in my opinion, and my friends); I think you would do better and be more confident if you know that you aren't going to be marked on it :mrgreen:

Congratulations Lauren!!! {up} Glad you did well!

I had a practice run today and it went alright. I was provided with feedback on what areas I should improve on for the real thing.

Luckily, I didn't get picked but there is still tomorrow ...

I guess the practice run boosted my confidence :mrgreen:

I'm SO glad that you did so well with your presentation!!See,it wasn't going to be so bad after all!!And you even had the classes up most attention too!!YAY FOR LAUREN!!!LOL! :lol: {thumb2}

And about with confidence,with me,is that confidence is the best thing to have and since I am in the process of becoming an actress it's what I look to everyday!! :mrgreen: :D And to me,your confidence will gain once you get started with something!!Like your presentation!!You were so nervous and you pulled through great!!Congrats!! {clap} {clap}

YAY! well i did it and i am still alive, lol.

It wasnt as bad as i thought it would be, and once i got talking, i enjoyed it abit aswell! it was so cool because the class seemed really interested with the topic, and thought the autographs i have are really cool!

i am actually quite proud of myself cos i am not a very confident person at times

good luck! did mine last year, and another one this year. at least you can chose a subject, i had to do my first one on work experience...that went well. seeing as they were all rubbish we got to do another one on something 'topical'. ended up doing it on population growth...wish i could have thought of something better :P ah well. once you get going its fine, its just the bit before that gets to you.
