No it's not correct.

That hides posts. To block PMs, there are more steps--that doesn't do it natively.

For someone who claims to want to be a mod, you sure demonstrate an inability to actually provide accurate advice.

My only real sadness comes from the fact that since he's blocked me (if in fact he really has) he'll never see this. Unless someone who hasn't been blocked (if there are any left) wants to quote this and respond to it.

Top right of the forum, user control panel and add them to your friends or foes list on the left side of the screen.
I'm probably misinterpreting littlestray1981's question but that will only block them from pm'ing you, correct? He will still be able to see the blocked person's thread posts. Sounds to me like he wants to block their posts. But I could be wrong.
