This is a very tragic event, and my thoughts go out to his family :(

My dad woke me up about 1 in the morning to tell me, I fell back asleep, and woke up thinking "Was it a dream, or did Steve really die"

I checked the internet, and sure enough there it was "Stingray kills crocodile hunter"

A sad day indeed

He was so nutty getting close to animals we wouldn't imagine :)
He was funny and entertaining and loved animals....

He will be missed. :cry:

Like everyone else has said, this is shocking news. I was surprised and in shock. He was an amazing guy and really funny. Always so happy and so excited. My thoughts are with his Wife and Children.

He was a good man.

I am having a hard time believing this. I feel like crying everytime i hear about it.. I grew up watching his show. I loved his show. He was so indistructible. RIP steve we will miss you.

Like so many people have said it's like he was invincable. And he loved animals so much. I hope that this accident doesn't stop his family from continuing to do things the way the always have. My heart and thoughts go out to his family and friends :cry:
