When I heard about the death of Steve Irwin late last night my stomach dropped. I am truly saddened by the news that he was stung by a Stingray and has passed away
. I can only imagine what Terri and the children must be feeling. My heart goes out to them and all who have had the privilege of knowing Steve. I never had the opportunity to meet him but my kid's and I are fans and will miss his unique, high energy enthusiasm about the creatures that we share this planet with. I know that his legacy will live on through all of his hard work to make conservation a top priority. I am sure many young people have already, with Steve as an example, picked up the baton to save our wildlife and that it will continue far into the future. Thank you Steve, for your huge efforts and accomplishments. You will be forever missed.
