Need a Real Charles Anzavour for This One!!!!

by Garnmad » Mon Feb 22, 2016 3:54 pm

Hello, Everyone. I am looking for a real history buff. In January or early February of 1970, Charles performed at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion in Los Angeles, CA. I am trying to figure out the exact date(s) of this concert. Because, it was my first encounter with this amazing singer. I was trying to get a certain guy to take me out. He was very shy and wasn't approaching me for a date, like I had hoped. I finally decide to make a move. I went to the Dorothy Chandler and asked who was performing that weekend. It was Charles Anzavour. I had never heard of him, but was told he was an amazing singer with lots of romantic songs. I bought two tickets and went to work and told this guy I had "won" them from a radio station. I asked if he would take me. He did. That began a romance that lasted 46 years, until he passed away last month. Over those years we danced and made love to Charles' music and I always regretted not keeping those first two tickets. Now more than ever, I would like to know exactly what day we went to see him perform for the first time. If you are able to provide me with a date or dates of that weekend in January or February 1970 I would be forever grateful. Thank you.
