Driving home for Christmas- what a class song.

You could play that to me in the middle of July (as my brother did this year- to try and annoy me) and you would think that Christmas was a few days away... just me then?

Yes its that time of year again where you can't go in a shop without hearing some bad christmas song, but lest we get cynical at this time of joy etc why not have a thread dedicated to the best festive songs the world has to offer. thinking about it i cant think of any other songs from outside the uk, so lets open our minds and learn something to 8)

to get the ball rolling i give you the fantastic Fairytale Of New York by the Pogues and Kirsty McColl. this is probably my favourite christmas song as its not pure cheese, but has a nice bit of arguing in it :D (does contain some slight offensive language - dont know if anyone could find it offensive but just to be on the safe side...)

And a true classic, Christmas hasnt started until this songs coming out of the radio - Merry Christmas Everybody by Slade. Not only a truely great song, but what fantastic facial hair they have too!
