In better news, "Degrassi: The Next Generation", which "The O.C." totally ripped off, continues into its sixth season, planning on a seventh! :D

Sorry, just a little salt in the wound.

I Believe It's A Different 'Crumbs' To The One You're Refering Too. You Mean The One That Got Cancelled Right?

I use to be a massive OC fan but since Mischa Barton left, it wasn't the same. I'd rather it was cancelled than continue to fail and have pointless storylines.

I Personally Think That Season 4, So Far Has Been The Second Best Season So Far (After Season 1, Obvi). The Storylines Have Become More Compelling Over The Past Few Episodes & It No Way Have They Become Pointless. TheMailman, I Know You Haven't Seen Season 4, So That Might Make You Change Your Mind. I Think Autumn Reeser [Taylor] Has Given A New Life To The OC. When Mischa Died, I Thought The Show Was Going To Go Even More Downhill [Her Being My Favourite Character], But I Couldn't Have Been More Wrong With The Arrival Of Autumn & Her Role As The Chatty Valedictorian Of Harbor High,. I Thought That When Ryan & Taylor Got Together, He Got Over Marissa Too Quickly & I Hated Them Togther. But Now I Think They're Almost Better Together Than Ryan & Marissa.

But Once The Ratings Fall, It's Hard To Get Them Back Up Again. Personally, I'm Glad That It Got Cancelled. I Know It's My Fave Show, But I'd Rather It Go Out On A High Than For The Ratings To Drop Even More & Not Remember It In A Good Light.

I Hope It Isn't Picked Up By CW.

Although The OC Has Been Cancelled. Josh Schwartz [The Creator Of The OC] Has Had Two Of His Shows Picked Up By Two Different Networks. CW Picked Up The Pilot Of His New Drama 'Gossip Girl'. And NBC Picked Up His Pilot For 'Crumbs'. So Hopefully, Schwartz Will Come Up With The Goods Again & I'll Be Able To Replace The OC, After Season 4 Finishes, With One Or Both Of His New Shows :mrgreen:

hm, I dont know...

it doesnt quite match with the kind of shows they seem to be promoting now of days, which are mostly comedies. They've pushed 7th Heaven & Reba which have been on the WB the longest, to Sundays. And they dont seem to be promoting them, or One Tree Hill or really any of the old WB shows that much.

Perhaps the CW are more than happy to have The OC :|

I doubt it though :roll:

Yeah. It's basically The O.C but without the beach and 5 main characters instead of 4 :D

So its kind of a "High School Drama Show" right? {up}
