Haha! I agree with you completely! You always practice what your going to say & it sounds good & everything & once you start talking to them.. you say something completely different, & sometimes stupid! But I'm sure you will be fine though! Good luck & HAVE FUN! Which I know you will :wink:

goodluck Steffi!

This probably sounds corny lol, but try rehearsing either in your head, or with someone else, what your going to say. You might draw a total blank when you meet the celebs, but maybe it'll work? hehe.

Im normally fine meeting people, the only time I've REALLY clammed up was meeting the League of Gentlemen - I just handed over my DVD cover and gawped at them! They were pretty nice though, although tired (they'd just come off stage!).

Hopefully in a couple of weeks I won't make a complete fool of myself at the next autograph convention I'm going to, I'm meeting Brandon Routh, Ray Park, and a few people from 'Casino Royale' - knowing me I'll be fine with Brandon and Ray but star-struck and shy for the other Casino Royale guys!! Wish me luck!! :mrgreen: {up}

One of my Dad's mates had one the worst encounters with a celebrity. He seen Duncan Ferguson ( a 6ft 4 Scottish footballer), who was playing for Everton FC at the time- he didn't know what to say to him as he was approaching, so eventually said this:

"I really love you Dunc!" in a half crying/half pleased voice. Duncan looked round for a bit and just said "Aye..." and then walked off!

Completely embarrasing if you ask me :lol:

I've met two actors - Richard Cox and Paul McGillion, Richard Cox though was pretty tired having been signing autographs all afternoon that for the posters he was starting to write random things - I got to see one in front of me - a bunch of random #'s lol. I had to get a few things signed for a few friends and I was nervous.

With Paul McGillion I didn't know what to say as I'd only seen one episode and he was the one that started up the conversation - I was afraid of saying something bad like ,"I've only sceen one episode with you in it but it was great!" which I sorta did and felt bad. Though now I've seen the whole first season and feel worse! I was slightly shy but relatively pretty good really.

I get mildly star struck (excited, really, especially if it's someone whose work I admire), but the ony time I was ever immobilized to the point where I couldn't approach the celeb was when I was an extra in ANGER MANAGEMENT and I saw Jack Nicholson five feet away.

I simply couldn't move...:)
