Dame Julie Andrews - did she or didn't she??

by lozzbeech » Sun Apr 22, 2007 7:45 am

I sent Dame Julie a thankyou card. Didn't want/expect anything in return. I did not send a SASE or a very obvious return address. My address was only printed on the back of the envelope for return purposes if the address was incorrect. She, well her Fan Mail co-ordinator kathy, sent me a letter telling me that Dame Julie wanted her to send me a letter personally thanking me for my "inspiring gift"....

It is on Julie andrews headed writing paper (not business paper, it just has a nice caligraphy style "julie andrews" on it), like personal stationary and is authentically signed in red pen by "Kathy". Does anyone think Dame Julie actually got my card?? She also sent me a pic, which i know is a PP cos i have seen it multiple times on here..

it's still nice to get something from her, especially seeing as i really didn't want anything in return..
let me know what u guys think. thanks
