We have purchased tickets to attend the upcoming Ennio Morricone concert in Rome next week. This is the third time we have purchased tickets for his concerts and the third time he has cancelled the event. We purchased tickets for two of the concerts in the United States, one at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Ca. and one in the Staple Center in Los Angeles. Both were cancelled. We currently live in Belgium for 6 months out of the year and thought it would be a almost sure thing if we booked tickets for his concert in Rome, since that is where he resides. Well, two weeks ago the concert was cancelled AGAIN. We have purchased airline tickets, hotel and expensive concert tickets hoping this time would be a sure thing. What a huge disappointment this has been. Also to add fuel to the fire, the venue we purchased the tickets from required a return ticket fee. Wow, we had to pay not only for our trip to Rome, but also for his cancellation of the event. Needless to say, we are very disappointed. Should these artists commit to concerts they are unable to attend, consistently???
