I never said you did That comment wasn't aimed at you. It was just general. Sorry if I offended you

William Shatner is the rudest celebrity I have ever heard of. A few of my trade mates in the USA have told me about his antics at autograph conventions. Apparently you are not allowed to speak to him or even make eye contact with him and if you shake his hand he uses anti-bac sanitiser straight after while you are still standing there!!!!
One of my mates who worked at a venue he was appearing at was told to move away from the entrance door because Mr Shatner didn't want him in his air space while he entered the building!
Who does that guy think he is???? I think I'd have smacked the idiot if I'd have been there!
My bad! Sorry I thought that was directed at me  . No poblem :)

Yes I have heard William Shatner is bad. It sounds like to me though he has some compolsive disorders or something, think 'As Good As It Gets'. lol

I agree with you they are not obligated, and although I find it disapointing some don't sign, it is the manner in which they refuse that I object to. I was not slating them for not signing. I was curiosue to why they can be so rude in the way they refuse or handel the situation. I NEVER slated them or anyone for not signing!

PS: I still blame ebay for turning celebs who used to sign in to grumpy RTSers :(

I don't even know why myself.. but I have a few guesses.. probably because they're rude, people selling them on eBay or they don't "have time" or whatever they're going to do. I, personally, would not sell any of my autograph collection at all because I earned them myself

it is a shame that celebs think that they are better than everyone else because of the job that they do.they are no better than you or me

WOW! I wonder what makes anyone that mean and rude? Especially to people who look up to them. I didn't think Samuel L. Jackson would be a nasty celeb, but there you go :(

There are SOME celebrities who are mean, but actually do sign, such as Samuel L. Jackson. Last year at the film festival he showed up for two different premieres (none of his were screening) and during one he came over and was signing and calling people names and was just SO rude...he walked right past Chrissy and I and didn't care to get his autograph, if he was going to be a jerk about it.

Wow that sux! Why do people always have to go and ruin it for everyone else!? :( Still you think celebrities could be nice about it, and just say 'sorry, i don't sign things... for such and such reason' or whatever. But I can see why they have issues with it. Oh well :)

I think the two biggest reasons are they're worried about people selling them. Even some sports stars don't sign IP even you ask them to make it out to someone, because people have found ways of taking off the name without damaging the item. And time, I'm guessing many of them just don't have time.
