I think the longest I ever went without receiving any autographs was about 4 weeks in October. I hadn't been writing since I didn't have as much free time as I did in the summer, and partially because I just needed a break from writing and going to the post office every day.

Like Ian said, sometimes it takes celebrities years to respond. Some of the longer waits I had were Bill Clinton (8 months), Conan O'Brien (2 years), and S. Epatha Merkerson (6 months).

Hi DwightKSchrute {up}

Great question {thumb2}

As a lot of us "oldies" know, six weeks is nothing when waiting for some autographs.

I am still getting successes from letters I wrote two-and-a-half years ago :lol: This isn't a quick-gratification hobby by any means ;-)

Ian :mrgreen:
2,5 years?! I am curious witch celeb that is!

Since you have started collecting autographs, what is the longest you have gone without getting a success?
