I would offer up that last year all cars were hard to find before X-mas. But this year I just asked the employees in the toy areas to look in the back. I also watched late at night for the stockers to have unopened boxes and ask the night shift guys to open those before they went to the shelf.
Great luck to you
Max

Really? So it's not illegal? Phew, I feel better about it now haha. Yeah, you should really do it, everything they throw away is good stuff (no real trash lol) we got a DVD and MP3 player out of that dumpster raid too haha.
well, they could get you for trespassing but most places just run people off if they catch them. the Wal-Marts around here have the compacters, not dumpsters..... dont get in a compacter
haha I'll have to watch out for that.

Well my cousin has all of them and I'm sure the way my aunt got them for him is illegal, but anyway. The Wal*Mart in my city got in whole new toy shipments (and I'm not sure if you know this or not) but they throw out all the toys that are on the shelve that have been there for a while. Anyway later that night we went to Wal*Mart, saw them dumping stuff in their dumpsters, so we checked and found tons of stuff, including the Cars toys, so now he has them. She kind of felt bad for some reason, so she went into the store and left $50 with a cashier. But that's the story of how he has them all. And some of them that were in the dumpster weren't even on the shelf in the store because we checked everywhere the week prior.

 Ok, now you two sound like my husband and myself after checking a ton of stores, only to come home empty-handed ! I have seen many on e-bay...and like many other collectors of the Cars die casts, I refuse to pay out the nose for them. It's ridiculous when practically every car that my son still needs goes for upwards of $10 or much, much more (they retail for $3-$8 tops) in some cases! A lot of the fun comes from the thrill of the hunt for me I suppose ;). I was simply wondering if anyone else here collected them and if so, if they'd be interested in sharing info {thumb2}.
