Lol 4.7 is nothing. In Auckland we have to deal with the threat of knowing that volcanoes may erupt any day here. weve got 51 volcanoes (some exticnt, some dormant). Also we had an earthquake around 4.5 last year. Its nothing, dont worry, visit Napier in New Zealand and ask someone who was around in the 1930's what a real quake is like lol.

I heard it was 5.3 on the Richter scale...

I woke up half asleep and knew something was going on, but I thought it was a dream, in the morning I realised it wasn't! It'll be quite cool to have another tremor as I didn't fully appreciate the last in my moment of subconsciousness!

Happened all over the UK. Leicestershire got it the worst.
I'm in leicestershire and it was bloody scary! It woke me up! I was just sitting up in bed, clinging on for dear life as the whole house shook! My cat however, slept through the whole thing and even had the audacity to bite me when I disturbed his basket to go and get a drink afterwards!

It was so bad that one of my care home residents climbed under a table coz she thought it was an air raid

I didn't feel anything move but my dad did. He said it was like the whole house was moving from under him. Well glad that I was asleep at the time  .

Ours was petty compared to what you guys across the pond get, but it scared the living day-light out of me and my Girlfriend.

All we could do in that 6 seconds was just look at each other. We didnt know what was happening, but we jut looked at each other...

Its like a car hits your home, and shakes it. You wonder whats happening, but you can feel EVERYTHING move. Even the ground under your feet!
