^ Nice log sheet RYAN J.

Basically, I have a list of send/receive dates on MS word. I also color code it, for if I bought the autograph, or it's a PP, authentic, etc.

*BTT*

I like the idea of a "who's who" forum, but I fear then people will start using it for all the wrong reasons, (like those who get autographs for profit), will come and waste time, and etc.

Your log sheet is great Ryan! ;-)
I agree with Hayley though, it's much better to write to someone you really admire, that way when you get the autograph, you actually appreciate it. :)

I just keep a spreadsheet for my TTM attempts. I keep it pretty simple.

All I need to know is:
Name of the celebrity/athlete
Date sent
Date received
Number of days
What I sent
Where I sent to (home, C/O team, C/O agency, etc.)
Result (what it was signed with, RTS, no response, etc.)

I also keep a copy of the picture on my computer for future reference (and re-name it, if necessary) so I can see who it is. Once a photo comes back signed, I can delete the file if I want. It all comes down to proper preparation and record keeping. I learned the hard way, of course.

Glad you like it. I hope you all find it useful! :D Sure makes it easy when you send out to the same person at 2-4 different addresses, you can trace back to which one you got the rely from. {up}

That is a great log sheet Ryan! It includes a lot in information. I use Microsoft Excel to log my feedback, it's pretty simple. My logs aren't nearly as detailed as yours though.

Well if you don't know who they are then don't email them in the first place! :lol: Send to people that you are a true fan of and you'll get a greater excitement when you receive their autograph and you will know who it is instantly {up} On this site we don't encourage just sending to anyone as we refer to it as "spamming". Some people just send to celebrities who reply via email just to get a free autograph and is the reason why many celebrities stop signing altogether so it spoils it for everyone {down}

A thread was made to post unknown autographs in but it is not often used: http://fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?f=146&t=116192 A forum for this is not needed at all {up}
