Not at all. When I say "bot" I mean program. The old topics were automatically locked after 3 months by some sort of bot

There used to be a bot that crawled around here and locked the topics that were older than 3 months, but it seems to have been lost when the site was updated.

I've gone into the feedback forum and there are 269 pages from 3 months and earlier alone. I locked about ten pages, but it really takes a while to do that, and I certainly don't have the time, nor the requirement to lock all of the pages.

I'll speak to admin about getting the bot back.

Although it is ideal, it's technically close to impossible. There are hundreds of pages of threads, and the staff members each have lives. We don't have the time to go through hundreds of pages locking each topic.

That wouldn't really work.. there are thousands of theads to lock, then they can easily be un-locked by TMs who want to post on thm. But it is a good idea, just not practical. (In my opinion)

This is killing me. You have Global Moderators, Moderators, Trainee Moderators, Autograph Experts. Assistant to the trainee Moderators( That's next) and I constantly see old threads bumped and locked. Why not just go around and lock the month old and older threads? Hey, I have an idea!! Let's have "Lockers" They can be given a camouflage color so they can lurk and lock old topics.
