Hey Manu80,

Thanks for your response, I'm glad I made sense! {thumb2} Yes, I know that I could just hit 'quote' or copy and paste etc. but it was really just a suggestion for convenience and I guess was hoping it wouldn't be too difficult to change given that there's already a similar thing when replying to posts on the forums. 8)

Just a little idea, anyway - thanks again for the alternative ideas! ;-)

When Replying to PM's..

Hi,

Um, just a thought regarding Private Messages. Whenever I open a PM someone has sent me, there's their message with the Message history below it - just like when posting a message on the forums, you can read the previous posts or in this case, the previous PM's exchanged. However, when I hit 'Reply', on the reply page, there's only a space for you to type your message, the message history isn't there and I was just wondering why?

It would be, in my opinion, so much easier when replying to PM's, if we could have 'message history' underneath where we type our reply, like the 'Topic Review' when you're replying to a post on the forums. It would be especially handy for when you are replying to a longer message or trying to help someone with a question or two. More often than not, I open my reply as a new window so I can check back on what the person has said or to see if I've missed anything. Obviously, it's not too much trouble to just open a new window but it would be handy to just have the 'message history' right there beneath the reply you are typing.

Anyone else find this...? Hope it all makes sense..
