I fully agree with John, Shambler and LikelyLadsfan - Matt shouldn't be judged by his joined date or posts made. He's clearly doing his part for the forum and I think the fact that he's made "only" 98 posts shows that he [b]doesn't[/b] post nonsense such as "congrats" in every feedback received or takes part in the "Games" forum more than all of the others. {thumb2} He's really contributing a lot to the forum and is first to help when someone needs it. {up}

Why you having ago at the lad, had anyone noticed he's done alot around here? check back the mod logs, so what if he has 98 posts its quality not quantity or would it be different if he slipped in a few 100 "great success's" everywhere.

Matt is a good lad, he's worked hard on the site, I know this because he's stayed in contact just to make sure he's doing this or that right.

Give him chance, i'd of probably agreed with you if it was some other member i've barely seen, but I have seen Matt's work and how much he's tried to help the site.

Check out ALL of his posts all the constructive comments.

I said I've made at most 150 posts, I have made more posts than my post count shows because I've deleted many when they aren't applicable (and when responding about threads that end up being deleted). I am just saying that my post count isn't 100% accurate... even now- I've made 4-5 posts in this thread, and at least 2-3 in Sig Shops- which are not equivalent to something like helping answer someone's questions. Posts in no way = how much knowledge/experience or other factors someone may have (although generally they can be a good indicator; JasonW has a lot of posts and and extremely active and helpful member).

I agree with John. Give Matt a chance, he's always willing to help out and has my full support. This forum needs more friendliness and less stiff upper-lips.

I have no problem with him being a moderator, he's more helpfull then some of the mods with a lot of post. If Im not mistaken he was the first to report when the forum was hacked and the files were open,
