a forum is to share information, rather than just email it to one person. Theres another topic from the same person about COA's where they've also asked to be emailed. In this one I just posted in the topic.
Absolutely. + That kind of post should be deleted.
Could a notice or something be put in one of the stickies to suggest that people don't ask to be emailed?
I think that it's not really necessary :? One can find that kind of post on the forums only once or twice a month

Just wondering what everyone thought about people requesting that you email them with information, rather than just posting on the forum.

Theres a topic at the moment where the person has said something like 'if you know of any real Hilary Duff autographs on eBay, please email me the link'. I find it a bit weird when people do this, because the point of a forum is to share information, rather than just email it to one person. Theres another topic from the same person about COA's where they've also asked to be emailed. In this one I just posted in the topic.

Like I said, I think that if you're going to ask a question on the forum, it should be replied to there as well. Could a notice or something be put in one of the stickies to suggest that people don't ask to be emailed? Thats if i'm not the only one who has this opinion!
