Could a notice or something be put in one of the stickies to suggest that people don't ask to be emailed?

I think that it's not really necessary One can find that kind of post on the forums only once or twice a month

Just wondering what everyone thought about people requesting that you email them with information, rather than just posting on the forum.

Theres a topic at the moment where the person has said something like 'if you know of any real Hilary Duff autographs on eBay, please email me the link'. I find it a bit weird when people do this, because the point of a forum is to share information, rather than just email it to one person. Like I said, I think that if you're going to ask a question on the forum, it should be replied to there as well. Could a notice or something be put in one of the stickies to suggest that people don't ask to be emailed? Thats if i'm not the only one who has this opinion!
