Personally, I am a fan of the Twilight saga, both the novels and movie(s) and, if I had been lucky enough to find the address, I would love to have had the chance to write a letter or two to my favourite members of the cast. However, as this is not the case, I would advise that anyone who does possess the 'New Moon' address and is fortunate enough to hear back from someone via the venue address, exactly as Selise stated, to not post any details of their success until after filming has wrapped.

Ok - let me preface this by I am sick of Twilight/New Moon actors and actresses and hearing all about it. I do not care one iota about the actors in it, I barely knew who they were and I'm sick of flipping PM's about if I know the address or not.

You know what's kind of funny. The fact that the like in a lot of places there's this huge recession yet people are still desperately wanting to write to the Twilight/New Moon Cast.

Georgios - if you had/have any trouble with any of them please feel free to tell them to PM me and I'll handle things. Especially the TMs...I kinda wanna keep track of them. lol

I have already had 5-6 last week who wanted to know the address..and 2 where TM so i can imagine it was them who eventually spread the address around..i myself dont even know it and i would love to send out a request for my sister who has a birthday comming up soon but i dont know the address xD but this sure i a problem that people can get the address from a TM!!!!

This is not to point fingers at anyone specific, this is just a general statement.

My big thing right now is that if a TM PMs any moderator for the address, please ask them to PM me. There is already a situation that went down between a moderator and the TM which I'm not pleased about where the address got passed on mostly due to the TM originally coming to me and it feels like they went behind my back to find someone else with the address due to me saying that I would not release the address until closer to when filming commences.. The moderator, however, knows that I am not upset at him/her, rather solely at the TM.

So, like Chrissy, I'm definitely not saying for no one to ask for it or search for it on their owns, but be extremely cautious if you decide to give it out (we'd rather you don't however).
Chrissy basically said it all...I feel like I'm missing something though. lol Oh well.

It has come to my attention that there are mods and tm who are giving out the address to users on this forum. The original plan was to take down the address so no one would get it unless they looked. The deal was to make it confidential and i am upset by the information i have received about the moderators and TMs who know about this that are still handing out the address.

If you give out the address and the person promises not to share it, how do you know thats true?? What if this person hands out the address to others and then so on and so forth?

This was a mutual decision made by mods. But if these people wish to continue to give out the address, your chances of getting anything slims more and more.

This is really disappointing. I am not upset because i want to send, thats not even the case. But it's the fact that there was a promise made as a TEAM and now its broken. No longer feels like a team effort.

Really, people can look for the address themselves, its not hard.

I am not the only moderator upset by this.

Sorry to rant and be upset but this is how i feel.

Thanks Lizanne. I'm actually in the process of getting the ability to sticky/make announcements...have been in contact with admin regarding it. So hopefully by next week (which is also when I'll really have time to focus on this all due to 2 essays due wednesday).
Like you've already done, please don't hesitate in sending members my way. But they are still not guaranteed to get an address if they do because not even do I have it. lol

Arg, I'm already getting my "daily pm's for the twilight (???) address". It's "New Moon", as Larisie said! Of course I'm useless at finding addresses so I just tell them what we have decided - no address will be posted. {thumb2}

Yeah, but the address isn't being posted ANYWHERE. Not even off fanmail.biz. lol So you know...it's unfortunate but if some of these people pay attention they'd see that most do sign through their agencies, it just may not be the shortest turnaround.
